INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE PHALAENOPSIS HOMEWORK

There have been a few corrections made to the list given out in January.  This was to cover an overlooked species, to add a few natural hybrids and to achieve a better division of assigned species.

  1. Do not forget to report on ALL of the forms and varieties of your assigned species.

  2. Prepare either a species page or a building block page on each species.

  3. Be sure to include in depth information on breeding characteristics on all of the species and, in particular, the building block species.

  4. Prepare a 15 minute program on your major (one) building block species, showing noteworthy progeny and discussing breeding characteristics.  Arrange with Manual Ay bar to go to his home so that you can pull the necessary slides for your program.  It is also your responsibility to return the slides to his file after your program.

  5. The slide presentations will be presented beginning in June and continuing through the next several months.

Note:  Glenda stated that we should feel free to call upon either Meir or Olie for help.
